The more I learn, the more disillusionment, the more the anger, the more the need to change in my soul rises. It brims, threatening to overflow and spill into an uncontrolled rage against the reality I continue to see unravel before my very eyes.

You see I am currently studying for my Master’s in Public Administration, and I am having the opportunity to TRULY understand the in’s and out’s of our government’s corruption … the in’s and out’s of the sure destruction of a once great nation. The more I learn, the more I find it absolutely NECESSARY to change my thoughts, my actions, very being.

As I watch the “protests” of Occupy New York, Occupy Dallas, and around the world I tremble with the realization that although we tire of the old and corrupt, we truly have no direction, no leader to head our campaign into a renewed stance.

Today, I stand humbly before you as a fellow peer and I request that TOGETHER we join in true educated eloquence, in humble servitude, in total mind, body, and soul to change FIRST ourselves, our actions, our thoughts, our beings … and united we march forward to change our beloved America.

The truth is that if we do not unite today, in as little as 15 years there truly will be no hope. The fall of a nation is in our hands and if we do not act today, we most certainly will lose tomorrow.

Pure Lunacy began as a dream. It has spread as a college girl’s rants. Today I ask that you help me make Pure Lunacy an American Revolution.

In order to change our nation we MUST revolutionize. The archaic methods, the foolish, imaginary “liberal” vs “conservative” battles, the mindsets of Americans as a whole MUST be renovated.

This imaginary line between liberals and conservatives, between Republicans and Democrats must be lifted. The problems we face today are not due to the actions by Obama or Bush, one specific politician or the other… NO the problems we face today is due to THE WHOLE LOT of CORRUPT career politicians. They have played government long enough, and now we rise!

We must not bicker with the frivolous arguments that have no true effect on our future. The truth is gay rights, abortion, drug wars, religion wars and the like have been and continue to be used as polarizing issues dividing a nation, so that the corrupt in power have the opportunity to take advantage of our precious nation to benefit themselves, and in turn destroy us all.

We as AMERICANS must stand UNITED. The founding fathers of this nation consisted of Christians, Atheists, Slave Owners, Abolitionists, and the like. Some hated each other to the point of duels and death. YET when it came down to taking care of business and realizing that the fate of a nation was at risk, these men put their personal beliefs in every small factor aside for the sake of one united belief, that of the United States of America as a united democratic nation, with justices and freedoms for all.

Today we MUST put our personal beliefs in every small frivolous factor aside to unite once again in the American Dream that founded this great nation. We must oust the corruption that has infiltrated every seam of our government, we must renew and revolutionize our courts, our congress, our agencies … OUR NATION.

But first we MUST renew and renovate ourselves…

Action must be taken, but not in any erratic manner, it must be thought out, it must be well planned and it must above all be thoroughly supported by faithful united minds.
