“In a country well governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of. In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of.” -Confucius
America, do we have something to be ashamed of??
I would say so.
-In 31 of the past 35 years, America as a nation has been budgeting on a deficit. What this means is that we make a budget, overspend beyond the amount of money coming in, and therefore raise American debt by having to borrow money on ‘credit’.
-In the past 30 years, the U.S. congress has had a variety of incumbents retain their positions for copious amounts of time, ranging from ten to twenty to thirty years at a time!
-In a recent article [link below] it has been stated that in the last 30 years the income for the top 1% has skyrocketed by 275%.

Now is it just me or does there seem to be a bit of a link between such high federal deficits, incumbents in place for decades, and the rich getting ultra richer??
Maybe, just MAYBE … hmmmm.
Why is it that as a nation we continue to do the same thing over and over again (ex: by voting in the same people in office, over and over again) and yet we expect different results??
It is time my friends to unite, organize, and change. A reform is needed, personal and national alike. Join me.
THIS IS PURE LUNACY
